Eric Fong is a Senior Manager with KPMG’s Canadian Corporate Tax practice, serving technology companies and high-growth startups in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications group at KPMG. He assists large Canadian multi-national corporations and high-growth startups with Canadian and international tax issues, including tax compliance, planning and corporate reorganizations. He has experience in US GAAP, IFRS and ASPE and has also assisted his clients in M&A transactions, including structuring, founder divestiture tax planning and due diligence.
Eric is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
He leads the UW AFSA Tax Clinic, a volunteer organization that annually helps over 1,200 students and members of the community get their personal tax returns filed and launches the career of over 150 future CPAs annually.
